This page explains how Mara handles data during early access.
Account and profile data
To use Mara you sign in with Google or email. We store your account identifier, sign-in method, and basic profile fields you provide. This lets you return to your Playbooks and manage them.
Confirmed context and generated Playbooks
The context you confirm during an interview — goals, people, preferences, constraints, tone — is saved to your account until you delete it. Generated Playbook files stay in your account until you delete them.
Interview messages and 24-hour purge
Raw interview messages exist only so Mara can hold a conversation with you. After your Playbook compiles successfully, those raw messages are marked for deletion within 24 hours and removed by an automated hourly job. Unfinished interviews carry a rolling 48-hour purge deadline. We do not use your interview content to train third-party models.
Model providers
Mara runs interviews and compilation through third-party AI model providers over the Lovable AI gateway. Your prompts and their responses transit those providers for processing. We do not send personal identifiers beyond what is required to run the request.
Rate limits and cost protection
To keep Mara affordable during early access, we apply per-account hourly limits (interview turns and Playbook compiles) and a per-session ceiling on interview length. When you hit a limit, we say so plainly and your progress is preserved.
Product analytics
We capture a small, fixed allowlist of funnel events (for example: landed on the homepage, started an interview, downloaded a Playbook). Event properties are restricted to a strict allowlist such as route, device class, playbook type, and interview stage. We never store the substance of your interview messages or Playbook content in analytics.
Operational and security logging
We keep short-lived operational logs (errors, timing, request counts) for reliability and abuse prevention. These logs do not include the substance of your interview messages or Playbook content.
Your files, your ownership
Playbooks Mara generates for you are yours. Files are plain text. Export them at any time and use them wherever you like.
Deletion
You can delete an individual Playbook, or your entire account and associated data, at any time from your account settings.
Scope of the product
Mara helps you shape context and drafts for AI you already use. It is not medical, financial, legal, or other professional advice. Mara does not send messages, change calendars, prescribe treatment, or move money on your behalf. Consequential decisions remain yours.
Terms
The Mara service and any generated Playbooks are provided as-is, without warranty. Do not rely on Mara for safety-critical, legal, medical, or financial decisions.
